Possible Road Rage Shooting Sends Cypress Man To Hospital

Shots were fired from one car into another in what may have been the result of road rage, police reported. One person was hospitalized.

CYPRESS, CA — A man was shot, then hospitalized, Sunday when someone fired a gun at his vehicle from another car, police said.

The shooting was reported to police just before 9 p.m. in the 4400 block of Lincoln Avenue, Cypress police Sgt. C. Miller said.

One man was taken to a hospital with a shot wound not believed to be life-threatening, Miller said.

No other injuries were reported in the car.

Miller said she could not confirm reports the shooting was the result of road rage.
