Prescription Drug Takeback Day Across Los Alamitos

LOS ALAMITOS-SEAL BEACH, CA - From the Los Alamitos Unified School District: On Saturday, October 28, 2017, the Los Alamitos Unified School District, in partnership with the Los Alamitos Police Department and the Los Alamitos Education Foundation, is hosting a Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This event coincides with the District’s Board priority goal to combat substance abuse by reducing the amount of excess or expired prescription medication within the community. Last year, the community turned in over 12 boxes of excess/expired prescription medication. Los Alamitos Unified continues to strive to create a safe, healthy and drug-free environment for all students, staff and community members. Please join the District in this effort to eliminate excess prescription medication within our community.
