Public Urged To Attend Talk On Animal Licensing Fees In Seal Beach

The City of Seal Beach is considering adopting a proposed resolution updating and establishing regulatory fees for animal control services.

SEAL BEACH, CA — The City of Seal Beach is considering updating and establishing user and regulatory fees for animal control services — including dog licensing fees — and the public was urged to be a part of the conversation during an upcoming public hearing.

The public hearing will take place Monday, Jan. 22, the city said. After the public hearing, the Seal Beach City Council will vote on a resolution to adopt the newly-established fees.

Residents were encouraged to attend and join in on the discussion. Documents regarding the proposed fees can be found by visiting the Seal Beach City Clerk's Office at City Hall, 211 8th Street.

Members of the public can also submit written comments on the public hearing discussion via email to the city clerk at gharper@sealbeachca.gov.

The public hearing takes place Monday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Seal Beach City Council Chambers, 211 8th St., Seal Beach.
