Registration Kicks Off For Youth Volleyball In Los Alamitos

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Volleyball season is starting up again in Los Alamitos.

The Los Alamitos Co-ed Youth Volleyball League makes a return this fall for children in second through eighth grade, the city said.

The league is divided into three divisions based on grade level, according to the city.

Throughout the season, players will hone in on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship.

All participants will receive a team jersey and medal, and division champions will earn a trophy.

In addition, the volleyball season will conclude with a Skills Contest and Awards Ceremony, an event designed to bring players and teams together to celebrate the end of the season.

Teams practice once a week starting the week of Sept. 14, with the first games scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26.

Los Alamitos residents can register for the team online for $150 by visiting the City of Los Alamitos's website.

Residents can also sign up in person at the Los Alamitos Community Center, 10911 Oak St.
