SEAL BEACH, CA — A 19-year-old passionate football fan from Seal Beach who recently beat cancer will get to experience a dream come true at this year's Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
Make-A-Wish Orange County is taking Seal Beach resident Carson Fox, a member of the University of Alabama's Para Track and Field Team, and 18 other families to the big game this year.

Make-A-Wish and the National Football League have partnered to prepare activities for the families to enjoy starting Wednesday and leading up to game day. The families will attend a welcome party, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Caesars Superdome and attend the first-ever Super Bowl Host Committee Parade in the French Quarter.
To date, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 300 wishes at the Super Bowl, along with hundreds more through the 32 teams and their players. The first wish granted was for John Paul Serna, a 12-year-old boy who attended the Super Bowl in 1982.
