Seal Beach Cops Seek Leisure World Theft Suspect Caught On Camera
Officers shared photos of a man rummaging through the 55 and up community's storage facility thought to have stolen a truck.

SEAL BEACH, CA ā Seal Beach Police want to speak with a man suspected of breaking into Leisure World this week and are using Facebook to find him.
A recent post shared on social media shows several pictures of a man with a military-style buzz cut rummaging through belongings in the storage area of the 55 and up community. Many residents expressed concern about such a theft, as security in Leisure World is tight.
"He broke into a storage area at Leisure World, stole a bunch of things, then stole a truck to get away," they wrote.

One resident wrote on the police's Facebook post that the suspect "stole a truck with a cement mixer and crashed through a gate."
Other residents commented on the overall safety of the community, though mentioned that thefts do happen.

"Many people are allowed in for the day for various services they provide to the residents," one resident wrote on the police's Facebook page. "As long as valuables aren't left outside, it remains a safe place."
According to authorities, he left behind evidence that was forwarded to the crime lab for further analysis.
Officials feel confident they will locate him soon but still appealed to residents to send in any tips.
