Seal Beach Diver Wins Championship

Victoria Ishimatsu, a diver from Seal Beach, won the Women’s 1-meter USA Diving Winter Championship in Austin, Texas back in December.

"This is her second Senior National title. Ishimatsu’s highest score was on a front two-and-one-half somersault in pike position earning her 63.70 points," according to the Sun Newspaper.

"As a student at USC, Ishimatsu won Pac-10 and Pac-12 Championship titles all four years as well as 2012 NCAA Women’s 1-Meter title," states the article.
