Seal Beach Police Focus On Autism Awareness In April

April is Autism Awareness Month, and to show support the Seal Beach Police Department will raise funds for children affected by autism.

SEAL BEACH, CA — The Seal Beach Police Department will be selling autism awareness t-shirts during the month of April.

April is recognized as Autism Awareness Month. To show support to the autism community, the Seal Beach Police Department will be selling limited edition Autism Awareness t-shirts as a fundraiser for Autism Partnership. This Seal Beach organization provides therapy to children within the autism spectrum.

The limited-edition Autism Awareness t-shirts are available in youth and adult sizes for $25 each.

The t-shirts are available at the Seal Beach Police Department, cash only and exact change, located at 911 Seal Beach Boulevard in Seal Beach.

Since 2019, members of the Seal Beach Police Department have worn a special Autism Awareness patch on their uniforms during the month of April. Two versions of the patch are available for sale to the public for $10 each at the Seal Beach Police Department.
