Seal Beach-Rossmoor Marie Callender's to Serve Its Last Meal Today
After 45-years, the Rossmoor-Seal Beach comfort food headquarters will close its doors.
Today is your last day for a heaping plate of nostalgia at Marie Callender’s Restaurant & Bakery at The Shops at Rossmoor.
After 45 years in Seal Beach, Marie Callender’s will serve its last meal today, the Long Beach Press Telegram reports. One of the few businesses to survive the massive redevelopment that became The Shops at Rossmoor, Marie Callender’s Grill is a favorite with Leisure World residents. Many Rossmoor residents remember it fondly from when it was one of the only places near Rossmoor to get a bite to eat.
“We’ve been here for 45 years; we’ve had a good run,” co-owner Nancy Procter told the newspaper. “It’s just time to move on.”

According to the Press-Telegram, you can get your last Marie Callender’s meals served to you today, but you can still order pies through the weekend.
