SeniorServ Receives $20,000 Grant from Bank of America for Meals on Wheels Program in OC
Bank of American donates $20,000 to SeniorServ

SeniorServ - the county’s largest nonprofit Meals on Wheels provider - was presented this week with one of 21 grants from Bank of America. A total of $260,000 in grants were distributed to Orange County nonprofits working to increase access to basic necessities including food, shelter and other fundamental needs for Orange County families and individuals in need.
“SeniorServ is grateful to Bank of America for supporting the basic need of nutrition for our senior community,” said Holly Hagler, SeniorServ President and CEO. “This generous $20,000 grant will provide hundreds of meals to the county’s most vulnerable seniors ensuring our goal of sustainability in meeting an increasing demand for Orange County’s growing senior population.”
“Basic needs assistance is a critical stepping stone on the pathway to financial progress for individuals and our community as a whole,” said Allen Staff, Orange County market president, Bank of America. “We’re honored to support leading nonprofit organization partners in Orange County that are helping individuals in our community move out of poverty toward better financial futures.”

Other organizations receiving grants include: AIDS Services Foundation Orange County, Camino Health Center, Community Action Partnership of Orange County, Community SeniorServ Inc., Fullerton Interfaith Emergency Service Inc., Grandma's House of Hope, Human Options, Inc., J F Shea Therapeutic Riding Center Inc., Latino Center for Prevention & Action In Health & Welfare, Laura's House, Mercy House Living Centers, Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, Oak View Renewal Partnership, Orange County Rescue Mission Inc., Orangewood Foundation. People for Irvine Community Health, Project Access Inc., Providence Speech & Hearing Center, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County Inc., HomeAid Orange County, and South County Outreach.
