Critical Injuries For Man Shot In His Car Overnight: Cops

GARDEN GROVE, CA — A man was found in his car with a serious gunshot wound on Thursday evening, according to the Garden Grove Police Department. The shooting occurred just after 7:15 p.m. in the area of Buena Street and Sunswept Avenue, according to reports from the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital with very significant injuries, Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney told The Orange County Register. It is unclear as of this report if he survived. The man remained in critical conditionearly Friday, the Register reported.

There were no immediate reports of arrests and the crime scene had the area shut off to the public for several hours, according to reports from the scene.
