St. Isidore to Hold Combo Art Show, Wine Tasting

A number of artists will showcase their work.

Would you like some art with that wine?

St. Isidore Historical Plaza will host a wine tasting and art show June 8.

Running from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 10961 Reagan Street the event aims to give locals a chance to meet artists and test some specialty vintages from the Seal Beach Winery.

Tickets are $35 per person and $60 per couple. Select pieces of art will be auctioned off on site.

The artists

  • Bill Fisher combines photography with painting to create mixed media works. His pieces are displayed at the Showcase Gallery in South Coast Village. Fisher hails from Germany and lives in Old Town Orange. 

  • Pamela Clauss is a water colorist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cal State University, Long Beach. She also teaches watercoloring techniques. 
  • Francesca Brayton uses watercolor and mixed media. Brayton has lived in Los Alamitos for 38 years, and her work can be seen at the Copperwood Artware Gallery in Orange. 
  • Eric Schommer, who uses oil on canvas medium, has pieces at the Parkhurst Gallery in Ports O’Call, Long Beach and the Queen Mary. 
  • Rachel van der Pol works with stained glass mosaics.  Born in Naaldwijk, Holland, Van der Pol lives in Los Angeles. She attended Cal State University, Fullerton, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
