Storm Topples 50-Foot Tree In Rossmoor
This aged tree in the area of Rossmoor was no match for the overnight deluge that swept through north Orange County.
ROSSMOOR, CA — A quiet street in the community of Rossmoor heard the crack! and boom of this enormous tree toppling into the street, early Thursday.
Authorities closed Martha Ann Drive within the unincorporated Rossmoor community for the removal of huge limbs that blocked traffic during the removal. Orange County Public Works officials used chainsaws to cut apart the tree and hauled it away.
The 50-foot tree fell both onto a home, across the sidewalk and into the road, pictures show.
