
Southland Credit Union Sugar Beet Festival
The event will have two
stages of music – the main stage at the corner of Pine and Florista and a
second stage at St. Isidore Historical Plaza.
The entertainment will range from children’s dance groups to bands –
including local favorites, the Elm Street Band, and a new group, Ickyridge
Stoop.
Historical exhibits like The TransPORTER, a 50-foot traveling expo that was built by the Port of Los Angeles for their 100th anniversary, and an exhibit from the Rancho
Los Alamitos. There will also be vendors and a fun zone for kids.

And what would a festival be without great food. Local restaurants
Marie Callender’s Grill, Shenandoah at the Arbor and Katella Deli have all
indicated they would have a presence at the festival. And the past week saw the addition of the
following food vendors -- Java on the Go, Fred’s Best Pizza, Moustache Mikes, Stuffin’ it Burgers, Tommy Pastrami and Tornado Potatos with more signing on all the time.
