Surfboard Glassing Business Burns In Westminster
Orange County Fire Authority, Huntington Beach Firefighters worked to put out the fire at the Edwards Street business.

WESTMINSTER, CA —A surfboard warehouse glassing shop caught fire Wednesday afternoon. Employees were inside the building when flames erupted, according to Orange County Fire Authority. It was not immediately clear how the fire began.
Firefighters arrived at the business on the 16000 block of Edwards Street in Westminster at approximately 2 p.m.
On arrival, firefighters saw black smoke pouring from an open roll-up door behind the business, Muir said.
Huntington Beach fire assisted OCFA firefighters with extinguishing the blaze, and local police assisted with traffic and crowd control.

"Everyone inside evacuated, and one person suffered smoke inhalation, but declined to go to the hospital," OCFA Capt. Jon Muir told Patch.
The business suffered a property loss of $150,000 and content loss of $50,000, and the cause was ruled accidental by investigators, according to Muir.
