According to the Garden Grove Fire Department, the boy's injuries were not considered life-threatening. Paramedics took him to an area hospital as a precaution.
"Although we cannot confirm that the rain attributed to the incident on Cypress and Century, the rain "certainly doesn't help with driving" conditions, Garden Grove Fire Capt. Thanh Nguyen said. "Please slow down and buckle up, and remember to keep your headlights and wipers on."
