The Blood Mobile Is coming to Sugar Beet Festival

The City of Hope Blood mobile is coming to the Southland
Credit Union Sugar Beet Festival on June 7th to collect donations to combat
summer blood shortages.

The Blood drive, begins at 8am in the parking lot behind
Sprouts at The Shops at Rossmoor.  The
drive continues until 2:30pm. -- throughout the running of the 5k-ish Sugartown
Challenge Obstacle Run and the second Sugar beet festival.

In one
hour’s time, a person can donate one unit of blood that can be separated into
four individual components that could help save multiple lives.  Donors will receive a $5 gift card to
Yogurtland, Chipotle and Subway.
