I bought a Lotto ticket this week, because, well, what if I really DID win, and what if I really DID have all the money I want/need to have what I think I want and need? It's an entertaining fantasy, isn't it? Everything I need...hmmm... OK...what do I truly "need" beyond the obvious survival items? And how about that tricky "want" thing? Have my desires changed over the years to where what I want right now is just about the opposite of what I wanted ten years ago? Of course they have. I'm a different person today than I was a decade ago. I wear different types of clothing, drive a different type of car, and eat in different restaurants. I even have some different hobbies and different friends. In many ways, I'm glad I didn't win the Lotto ten years ago, or I might have a garage full of STUFF that I desperately wanted then, that is fodder for garage sales now. You know what want/need hasn't changed in all these years? My desire to have my own house. From time to time, I change the look of it with different colors or landscaping, but it's still my house and I love it. It isn't huge and impressive or tall and flashy, but it's mine. It's where I nest my Self, where my inner peace resides, and where I find inspiration. You know, with prices beginning to rise, and interest rates still low, it might be time for you to get your personal needs met as well. It might just be the right time to get your house, whether it's cavernous or cute, fixer upper or turnkey, the market is stirring, and you might want to move with it. Give me a call, and RELAX, I can help with that. Alice Billman 562-338-5744 Realtor/Broker with Keller Williams Realty Specializing in Seal Beach and the Shore
