Tough Day All Around for O.C.'s Wrestling Teams at Dual Meet Championships

Los Alamitos' wrestling team lost its first-round match to Corona Santiago, 39-22, Saturday in the CIF Southern Section Divsion 1 Dual Meet championships Saturday at Villa Park High.

Third-seeded Laguna Hills, champion of the South Coast League and defending division champion, lost in the semifinals to second-seeded Oak Hills, 33-30. Top-seeded Temecula Valley beat Oak Hills, 29-22, to win the division championship.

San Clemente beat Sultana, 44-28, in the first round but fell to Temecula Valley, 35-20, in the quarterfinals. Edison lost its first-round match to fourth-seeded South Hills, 47-24.
