SEAL BEACH, CA — Two people killed in a Seal Beach double shooting were identified Monday as 37-year-old Garden Grove resident Amanda Jensen and 49-year-old Seal Beach resident Rick Moore. Moore was a Police Captain with the Los Alamitos Police Department.
Police have not said whether the shooting was a murder/homicide, but authorities have not announced an active search for the suspects.
The events began with a woman calling 911 on Sunday night, at just after 7:15 p.m. She requested police assistance to a Seventh Street apartment, according to Seal Beach Police Commander Steve Bowles. The call was disconnected, and witnesses told arriving police officers they had heard several gunshots coming from an apartment in the 100 block of Seventh Street.
