HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — San Diego’s Jack Beresford outlasted a talented group of kneeboarders, including competitors who traveled from as far as Australia and Puerto Rico to win Open Division at the 2019 US Kneeboard Titles and Festival held Feb. 15 at the south side of Huntington Beach Pier.

The win was Beresford’s sixth U.S. title. No other U.S. kneeboarder has won the event more than twice.

In the midst of one of Southern California’s stormiest winters in years, kneeboarders were treated to head-high sets and mostly clear skies for the one-day event. Fittingly, as the final horn of the day sounded, the rain began.
