Veterans Day In Seal Beach: How To Honor Military Personnel

SEAL BEACH, CA — Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11, Seal Beach. This is a time to pause and remember servicemen and women for all their sacrifices made in order to defend this country.
In Orange County, there are several Veterans Day events designed to provide community members with the space to reflect and honor veterans in our community and across the nation.

- Nov. 11 — Veterans Day Service, Dana Point.
Residents can join the VFW Post 9934 and the City of Dana Point in a ceremony to honor veterans at Strands Vista Park. The service starts at 10 a.m. at Strands Vista Park, 34109 Selva Rd.

- Nov. 11 — Veterans Day community celebration, Costa Mesa.
The community celebration is free to all who attend. Residents who join in on the occasion will see the unveiling of a new plaque honoring fallen heroes and veterans who served post Sept. 11. The ceremony will also include an All-American Boys Chorus performance, veteran service organization booths, food and activities.
The festivities start at 2 p.m. and go until 4 p.m. Nov. 11 at Heroes Hall, 88 Fair Drive.
- Nov. 11 — Fullerton Veterans Day Parade, Fullerton.
The City of Fullerton invites residents across Orange County to take part in the annual Veterans Day parade and patriotic ceremony. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at Harbor Boulevard and Wilshire Avenue and ends at the War Memorial at Hillcrest Park Great Lawn.
At 11 a.m., the ceremony will begin with a placement of wreaths on the Veterans Memorial.
- Nov. 11 — Family Veterans Day Celebration, Ladera Ranch.
A family event meant to honor local veterans and families publicly and thank them for their service. The event is organized by Lion's Heart Group 2025, with the ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a keynote speaker.
Attendees were asked to consider donating a toy to support local Marine families at Camp Pendleton by bringing an unwrapped toy to the event.
The celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 28801 Sienna Parkway. More info.
- Nov. 11 — Veterans Day Ceremony, Laguna Niguel.
Join members of the Laguna Niguel community for a virtual Veterans Day ceremony to honor area veterans at the Sea Country Senior and Community Center.
Present veterans may also have the chance to share stories about their time of service.
The virtual ceremony starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 12:30 p.m. at Sea Country Senior & Community Center, 24602 Aliso Creek Road.
- Nov. 11 — Veterans Day Ceremony and Veteran Resources Fair, Mission Viejo.
Residents can pay homage to veterans at this special ceremony with a resource fair immediately following. The theme of this year's event is "Freedom is not free."
The ceremony takes place at 2 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
- Nov. 12 — St. Isidore Historical Plaza Veterans Day Celebration, Los Alamitos.
The annual Veterans Day celebration at St. Isidore Historical Plaza continues. At the event, residents will be able to view historical military memorabilia displays and meet active military personnel to thank them for their service.
