Victim ID'd As Los Alamitos Resident In Fatal Westminster Crash

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after the car he was driving in crashed into a concrete wall in Westminster Tuesday.

WESTMINSTER, CA — The Westminster Police Department sought the public's help in investigating the cause of a single-car crash that killed one man on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Authorities were called to the site of the crash near the area of Bolsa Chica Road and Rancho Road at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday and found a single vehicle that had slammed into a concrete wall. The sole driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Orange County Fire Authority.

The driver was later identified as 44-year-old Jace A. Remington, a resident of Los Alamitos.

Westminster police officers are currently looking into the cause of the crash, and it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
