Victims ID'd In Fatal Sunset Beach Crash, 1 Arrested
A man and woman both died when a suspected DUI driver slammed into their cars on PCH Tuesday night.
SUNSET BEACH, CA — Two victims killed in a suspected DUI crash were identified Wednesday, according to the Orange County Coroner's Office.
Cindi Darrelyn Zerovs, 71, of Huntington Beach, and Mitchell Tyler Wade, 19, of Newport Beach, were killed in the crash caused by a Sunset Beach driver suspected of drunk driving, Huntington Beach Police reported.
The suspected drunk driver, Erik Kinser of Sunset Beach, was booked on suspicion of drunk driving, according to Lt. Ryan Reilly.

"Kinser was behind the wheel of a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling northbound on Pacific Coast Highway, Reilly says. Kinser allegedly veered over the center median and slammed into a 1999 Toyota Solara and a 2012 Lexus RX350. Both were driving in the southbound lanes of PCH.
Zeros, the driver of the Lexus, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to Reilly, her fellow passenger, a 45-year-old woman, was taken to OC Global Medical Center in Santa Ana for treatment of moderate injuries. Their relationship was not immediately known.

Wade, the Solara driver, was rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where he later was pronounced dead, Orange County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Dennis Breckner said.
Charges against Kinser have not yet been filed.
