Woman Dies In Huntington Beach Fatal Hit-And-Run, Driver Sought

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A pedestrian was killed early Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Huntington Beach, and the motorist was being sought, police said.

The person, described only as a female, was fatally injured about 3:45 a.m. near Edinger Avenue and Springdale Street, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department. Information on her identity or age was not immediately available.

Edinger Avenue remained closed between Springdale Street and Plymouth Lane while Police investigated the circumstances of the death.

No description was available of the hit-and-run vehicle.
