3 Juveniles Arrested for Break-In at Nearby Woodside Residence

BREAKING: The trio also is suspected in two additional burglaries, deputies said.

WOODSIDE, CA – Three male juveniles were apprehended and arrested in connection with a daytime burglary at a Woodside home last week, officials said.

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office responded Dec. 6 at approximately 10:40 a.m. to a residential burglary report on the 200 block of Woodside Drive.

A witness reported seeing three young males in red jackets running toward Alameda De Las Pulgas, and deputies spotted and stopped three juveniles matching the description near the Alameda De Las Pulgas and Maddux Drive intersection in Redwood City, deputies said.

Stolen property from the burglary was found and the three, all from San Mateo County, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. They were transported to the San Mateo County Youth Services Center without incident, deputies said.

Detectives suspect they are linked to two additional home burglaries in the Town of Woodside.

No additional details are being released, agency officials said, adding: "Great work by the alert citizen who, 'Saw something and said something.'”
