The famed Shaolin monks visited Los Altos High School to demonstrate their kung-fu prowess and benefit the school's Future Business Leaders of America club. A new mayor and new councilman were sworn in at the Los Altos City Council. The St. Francis High School girls volleyball team defeated Presentation High School to qualify for the state championship on Saturday.
