πŸ“° News we're reading

β€’ Bay Area's first 'living levee' opens at Palo Alto Baylands (sanjosespotlight.com) β€” A new 'living levee' at Palo Alto's Baylands is now helping protect the shoreline from sea level rise while improving how treated wastewater is filtered before it reaches the bay, directly affecting Los Altos and neighboring cities served by the regional plant. The project, part of a major multi-year plant renovation, also restores marsh habitat and could guide similar climate-resilience efforts around the Bay Area.
