Local Attorney Montgomery S. Pisano Helping Soles4Souls Wear Out Poverty

Attorney Montgomery S. Pisano, of Peninsula Law Group, is proud to announce his office is continuing efforts to help out the less fortunate throughout the holidays.

He is hosting a holiday shoe donation drive for Soles4Souls, a nonprofit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.

To help the less fortunate, please donate new or gently worn pairs of shoes to Peninsula Law Group, the drop-off location at 5150 El Camino Real, Suite D-22 in Los Altos, CA.

“The holidays are a time of giving, so I encourage everyone in the community to drop by my office and give a pair of shoes to help a person in need,” said Pisano, whose previous drive for Soles4Souls resulted in more than 50 pairs of shoes.

The mission of Soles4Souls is to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050. Children every day are prevented from attending school and adults are unable to work as walking becomes unbearable, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty. However, Soles4Souls aims to wear out poverty one pair of donated shoes at a time. To date, Soles4Souls has collected and distributed more than 26 million pairs of shoes to those in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S.

“Every pair of donated shoes counts, and can provide relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow,” concluded Pisano. “Everybody in the world should have at least one good pair of shoes, and you can help make that happen, especially during this time of holiday giving.”
