A wonderful unique travel company I can recommend highly is Abercrombie and Kent, usually known in the travel industry as A & K. There are hundreds of travel companies around the world who do both groups and custom itineraries to exotic destinations but this company does an outstanding job which makes them classy, the best, and unique. With more than 50 years of experience and 52 offices worldwide, they have incredible access to places and people no one else can touch.
Being in the travel business for over fifty years, I have been on more group tours than you have had hot dinners, and although companies who I have used like Trafalgar, Globus, Tauck, Insight, Avanti, all do a good job you can be with up to 54 people and if the client can afford the extra cost, it is more enjoyable to join a smaller group. Age isn’t a factor, I think you can enjoy yourself better with less people on the tour.

Happy to report I have been everywhere, more than once, except for two destinations which are not on my bucket list. I am a European so grew up going to many of these destinations several times a year. I was blessed that my family travelled a great deal and then with my job in the travel industry I had the opportunity to travel the world. I have been to 137 countries at the last count.
