BevMo! To Relocate From Mtn. View To El Camino Real In Los Altos

BevMo! opens its doors Aug. 27 on El Camino Real in Los Altos, just two blocks from its previous location in Mountain View.

In crossing El Camino Real to re-locate in Los Altos, BevMo! marks its first store within the city limits, company officials said.

The newly constructed space at 4700 El Camino Real will feature alcoholic and non-alcoholic selections, along with an enhanced assortment of premium wines. 

The Los Altos grand opening celebration will take place August 27 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m and as is customary with any new BevMo! store opening, company executives will be on hand at 6:00 p.m. to “saber” a bottle of champagne via a ten-foot sabre sword for good luck and prosperity.

Other festivities will include a live radio remote and customer giveaways, as well as cheese pairings and wine tastings from Roederer Estate and Stag’s Leap.

BevMo! currently operates 157 stores across California, Arizona and Washington. The opening of the Los Altos store brings the Peninsula-area total to eight.
