The Mid-Peninsula Widow and Widowers Association (<a href="https://www.mpwwa1.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.mpwwa1.org</a>)&nbsp;is a 501(c)(3)&nbsp;non-profit, non-sectarian organization whose membership is comprised exclusively of widows and widowers.&nbsp;The group organizes activities for its members so they can stay engaged with others doing fun, social activities after the passing of their spouse. Group activities include: meals at local restaurants; games including Bocce Ball, Bowling, Card Games; weekly business meetings in Los Altos often followed by a speaker and entertainment; picnic and more.
The group has General Meetings on the first&nbsp;Tuesday of every month from 1:30 pm-3:00 pm. and the following Tuesday&nbsp;nights from 7:30--9:00 pm.&nbsp; Visitors are welcome to join us, at no charge, and should arrive 30 minutes before the meeting starts.&nbsp;
Annual membership dues are $80.&nbsp;&nbsp;General Meetings are in Luther Hall at the Los Altos Lutheran Church; 460 So. El Monte Ave, Los Altos, CA 94022.&nbsp; Access the parking lot from Cuesta.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He is a bass-baritone with a&nbsp;love for singing Negro/Black spirituals. Albert says, “I’m honored to&nbsp;be asked to sing at Foothills. I’m a chorister at heart. Singing is my&nbsp;joy.”

<a href="https://www.losaltoshistory.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Los Altos History Museum</a> explores the healing power of art and storytelling in a program focused on the human impact of one of the largest forced migrations of the 20th century. Titled “<a href="https://www.losaltoshistory.org/events/interpreting-the-partition-through-poetry-and-art/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Interpreting the Partition through Poetry and Art</a>,” the event will be held on Wednesday, <a href="https://www.losaltoshistory.org/events/interpreting-the-partition-through-poetry-and-art/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">May 20, from 5:30 - 7pm</a>, and features acclaimed visual artist, author, and Partition historian Tanya Momi.
Momi is the author of <a href="https://americankahani.com/perspectives/in-daughter-of-a-refugee-tanya-momi-paints-the-unspoken-traumas-of-indias-partition/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Daughter of a Refugee: India’s Partition—History, Memory, and Art</a>, inspired by her father’s personal experience during Partition and the memories carried across generations.
Attendees will hear directly from the artist about her creative process in interpreting historical trauma and view her paintings.

My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere.
