Cheryl Burke Dance Closing Peninsula Studio
Celebrity dancer Burke will appear at two farewell events in September.

News from Cheryl Burke Dance in Mountain View:
Cheryl Burke Dance is closing its 14,000-square-foot ballroom complex at 1400 North Shoreline Boulevard in Mountain View on Sept. 30.
Founded in 2009 and a popular dance venue, the ballroom will continue lessons, weekend dances, and events until the closing date.

Studio co-founder Cheryl Burke, Emmy-nominated and award-winning celebrity dancer, will appear at two special events: a āFarewell Party,ā on Saturday, Sept. 12, and a āTwilight Tea Last Danceā on Sunday, Sept. 13.
The Saturday party is set for 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and the Sunday dance, featuring music by popular disc jockey Larry Brillante, starts at 7 p.m. and continues until midnight.

A āFinal Showcaseā is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Students and instructors will perform routines that reflect the dedication needed to master American and International ballroom styles, including smooth dances, Latin, and Swing.
