They have nearly 70 resorts all over the world, both in the sun and the snow. I’ve been to many of them and never been disappointed. They are constantly growing with new properties and renovating many of their existing properties. I’ve sent many clients to different properties, and here is my sixpenny worth of advice on why you should be putting them on your bucket list. Many Grandparents give the family a Christmas gift of a week away and either it is a surprise, or let them choose the destination. As one client told me, this was much easier than buying lots of gifts.

For a hard working mother who badly deserves some time for herself, and some time together
with her husband, you definitely need to look at the kids program which is outstanding and doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. Take it easy, capture the moment, and have precious time together with someone looking after the youngsters for you. Four years old and up, child care is included. For four months to twenty three months, there is an extra cost. For the nippers aged 2 or 3 years, there is also a special program. If you have a big family, this is truly a godsend. Take it easy, capture the moment and enjoy your precious time
together while someone is looking after the youngsters for you.

Some destinations are better for families, and some better for singles. I’ve sent many a honeymoon couple to one of the resorts and Club Med is only too pleased to VIP them since it’s a special occasion. The icing on the cake for me, is the wonderful ski locations. You can find a destination which has golf, tennis swimming, spa, fishing, and there is something for all tastes, or you can do nothing but relax. You can get a video – two minutes long – on each resort to whet your appetite.

The children can learn new sports, make new friends from many international countries. and even become a mini chef in the kid’s club cooking classes. You can’t beat the prices. Book early and save. The earlier you book, the bigger the savings. Kids under 4 are free, 4-11 up to 50% off, and 12-15 up to 30% off. If you have a big family, this is truly a godsend. If you refer a friend, you get $200 off your next holiday, and the friend gets $100 off their first Club Med holiday. Check out the packages, some great offers.

Punta Cana is very popular for adults only. Cancun, Mexico is also a best seller. Sandpiper is a great destination which I have used many times for a corporate award program. It’s a great morale booster. My recommendation to corporate clients is that employers would rather have a trip than a bonus, and have chartered planes and taken the division or team for a trip to a Club Med destination. Another one I used several times for a corporate meeting is Ixtapa, Mexico. It is a magical place and great for a few days or longer. The entertainment is outstanding.

One company president when he sent out the award details said “now is the time to press pause” which I thought was clever.

As Gerard Blitz the founder of Club Med said 60 years ago,” the time to be happy is now, and the place to be happy is here”

Start dreaming…..
