Earth Day: Electric Bicycles Explained
Earth Day Fair goers had a chance to sit in electric cars and test-ride electric bikes Sunday, all with the idea of changing the way we think about transportation.
With the Drive Less Challenge beginning Friday, Los Altos Patch includes a video interview with Douglas Schwartz of ELV Motors who was at the Earth Day celebration at the Westwind Community Barn in Los Altos Hills.
Schwartz said he sold about six e-bikes during the Earth Day celebration. If you missed the fair and want to go kick the tires yourself, ELV Motors, which sells electric an hybrid bikes, scooters and motorcycles, is at 2070 Homestead Road, Santa Clara, 95050.
