Pam Donkin (Final Event in Summer Concert Series)

Pam Donkin is an award-winning children’s performer and children’s recording artist on the acclaimed children’s record label A Gentle Wind and has appeared nationally in concerts, schools, libraries, and on television and radio.

Her music has been licensed to various projects including Scholastic, Inc. and several parent/child music programs and video soundtracks. Her video “Music is Magic” has been broadcast on The Learning Channel. She makes her home on the San Francisco Peninsula and is host of the children’s television show, Kaleidoscope Kids, shown on Peninsula TV, on 17 cable channels. Adding to her two award-winning CD’s for families, “Music is Magic” and “Friendship Stew”, she has a solo CD for babies through age 5 called “A Hop, Skip and a Jump”. Released in January 2007, it has won 5 national awards including a Parents’ Choice Award. In addition to offering interactive and educational elementary and pre-school assembly programs, library programs, family concerts & workshops for teachers, Pam directs “Pam Donkin’s Children’s Chorus”, age 5-8, in Atherton CA, and is a licensed Music Together® Director, working with caregivers on how to enhance and nurture their young child’s musical development.
