Friends of Los Altos Endorses LASD School Bond Measure N
"We believe that it is needed to support the district's enrollment growth," said board president.

From Friends of Los Altos:
The Board of Directors of the Friends of Los Altos, Inc. (FOLA), a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer-run organization comprised of City of Los Altos residents, announced Monday that they have endorsed the Los Altos School District (LASD) bond Measure N.
“Consistent with our goal to reflect the values of the broader community of Los Altans, the FOLA Board of Directors voted unanimously to endorse the Los Altos School District’s bond measure on the November ballot,” stated FOLA Board President David Casas. “We believe that it is needed to support the district’s enrollment growth, and we appreciate the LASD Board’s recent efforts to work collaboratively with Bullis Charter School and community groups such as Save Los Altos Parks (SLAP). In turn, the FOLA Board expects and will hold the LASD Board of Trustees accountable to clearly articulate how the funds generated will be used, and to respect all Los Altos parks and public land in its quest for additional school sites.”
