Head-On Collision On I-280 In Los Altos Hills

LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA - All lanes are now open on Interstate Highway 280 in the area of Page Mill Road in Los Altos Hills, according to California Highway Patrol officials.

A traffic collision reported at 3:44 a.m. first forced the closure of all lanes, with northbound lanes opening later. The CHP is now reporting that all lanes are open.

The collision involved three vehicles, according to the CHP. One of the vehicles was driving the wrong way on the highway, CHP officials said.

At 5:20 a.m., CHP Officer Art Montiel said the northbound lanes had opened. Southbound lanes reopened just after 7 a.m.

The Sig-alert issued earlier has been canceled.

The CHP has not released any injury information.
