Intermediate ESL Class Starts Soon At Los Altos Library
There is still room in the course, library officials say.

From Santa Clara County Library District: The Los Altos Library is hosting a class to help adults practice their English speaking skills in a fun and interactive way this February and March. The class, called Level Up ESL!, is perfect for those who are trying to better communicate at work, with their children’s school staff, hospital personnel, when trying to find things at retail/grocery stores and for other everyday life occurrences.

The class is intended for intermediate to advanced students who feel comfortable with basic English grammar and reading and would like to focus on building and sharpening their natural conversational skills. This includes learning idioms, conversational phrases, pronunciation and vocabulary in an interactive classroom setting. The curriculum (which will primarily include role-play, games, and group work) takes a unique approach toward language learning and does not simply drill grammar or push worksheets.
Classes will be held every Thursday, February 8 through March 29, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Los Altos Library, 13 S. Antonio Rd. 94022
