International Humanitarian Law: Investigating War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity

The event will be at the Los Altos Youth Center, 1 North San Antonio Road.
The Peninsula Chapter will sponsor a joint program with the Silicon Valley Red Cross on “International Humanitarian Law: Investigating War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity.” Eric Stover, the Faculty Director of the Human Rights Center at UC Berkeley, will be discussing the results and effectiveness of his years of experiences investigating violations of human rights in countries like Cambodia, Iraq, Rwanda, and Bosnia. The implications for the International Criminal Court and assistance to victims are also presented.
