Introduction to 3D Printing at Los Altos Library

Learn about 3D printing for the home hobbyist with industrial artist and designer Ellie Lawson. This 2 hour program is an overview of 3D printing options for everyone from hacker to housewife. View a demonstration of the 3D printing workflow from file to printed object. Learn about the science of fused deposition modeling (FDM) and other 3D printing technologies, and how 3D printing is used in industry, medicine, and in the classroom. Ellie Lawson is a STEAM educator who specializes in 3D printing and modeling.
