Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade Is Sunday

Notice from the Los Altos PD:
The Annual Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade is scheduled to take place this Sunday, November 30 in Downtown Los Altos!
The parade will begin at First and State Street and make its way through downtown via Main Street, First Street, Whitney Street and Third Street.

All North Parking Plazas between First and Third Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning Sunday, November 30 at 6:00 a.m.
Parking will be restricted on First Street from Shasta Street to Main Street beginning atnoon.
Main Street, State Street, First Street, Whitney Street, Plaza Central (from First to Fourth Streets) and Plaza South (between Second and Third Streets) will close at 4:00 p.m.
All streets and parking plazas are expected to be fully re-opened by 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30.
Parking
Parking will be very limited downtown, please be mindful of the red and white “No Parking” signs, road closure barricades and warning signs. Any unlawfully parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Handicapped Parking will be available behind Wells Fargo Bank located at 100 Main Street.
Rain Date
If there is a chance the parade may be cancelled due to rain, visitwww.losaltosparade.com; the Festival of Lights Committee will post their decision by3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30.
If the parade gets rained out, it will be rescheduled for the following Sunday, December 7, 2014.
