Los Altos Hills Becomes A Little Safer
The Town, VTA and Gardner Bullis School celebrate ground breaking of an off-road route improvement.
Los Altos Hills held a ground breaking ceremony Friday to celebrate the start of a $1.08 million dollar project under the Safe Routes to Schools program.
The improvement project will provide an off-road passage so school kids and pedestrians can travel safely along Fremont Road and it removes some of the unsightly utility poles that are dangerously close to the road, according to Mayor Rich Larsen.
