Los Altos Hills Residents Flock To 14th Annual Picnic

Tortilla toss, pie-eating contest, pig races and classic cars all a part of community gathering.

Good, old-fashioned fun reigned supreme at Purissima Park in Los Altos Hills on Sunday, as more than 2,500 residents gathered for the 14th Annual Town Picnic.

Children enjoyed an obstacle course and games like a tortilla toss, balloon toss, pie-eating contest and bobbing for apples. The event also featured pig races, model trains and a classic car show.

This was the first year that the Los Altos Hills Youth Commission took charge of a large part of the event, running the games for children and teens.
