Los Altos Residents Invited To Crime Prevention & Emergency Response Meeting
"You are the Eyes and Ears of the City" - The event is Thursday evening at the youth center. [Breaking]

LOS ALTOS, CA – A community conversation on Crime Prevention and Emergency Response with Los Altos Police Captain Scott McCrossin, Community Service Officer Josh Cottrell and Los Altos Block Action Team Leaders is set for Thursday, Sept., 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Los Altos Youth Center.
The public event will feature a demonstration of the city’s Emergency Information and Site Reporting Plan.
The EIRS relies upon help from Block Action Team leaders, Los Altos Emergency Radio Service volunteers (HAMs), and Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) to meet residents’ most urgent needs in the event of an emergency.
