Lucky Los Altos Woman Wins 'Early Bird' Prize in Dream House Raffle

Those who enter the annual raffle support a local nonprofit devoted to sharing contemporary art.

An altruistic Livermore woman has won one of the “early bird” prizes awarded during the popular Silicon Valley Dream House Raffle.

Livermore resident Jane Bohrer, whose name was drawn as the second early bird winner of 2015, has the choice of $10,000 or a cruise.

The annual raffle benefits the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, which is a nonprofit organization in the Bay Area committed to supporting contemporary art, according to the Silicon Valley Dream House Raffle website. The drawing for the grand prize takes place on Nov. 20.

No word from Bohrer yet on her prize decision.
