Man Killed In Sky Londa Motorcycle Crash

A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Tracy died in a collision Saturday afternoon in the unincorporated San Mateo County community of Sky Londa.

SKY LONDA - A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Tracy died in a collision Saturday afternoon in the unincorporated San Mateo County community of Sky Londa, California Highway Patrol officials said.

CHP officers received a call at 1:22 p.m. of the collision on state Highway 84 just west of state Highway 35.

The motorcyclist was driving a 2016 BMW east on Highway 84 when he came upon a sweeping right curve and lost control of the cycle, according to CHP officials.

He fell to the ground and slid with the bike along the road across the double yellow lines into the path of a 2016 Kia.

The Kia was traveling west on Highway 84, CHP officials said. The motorcyclist collided with the Kia and died.

The driver of the Kia suffered minor injuries and was taken to Stanford Medical Center, according to CHP officials.

The two passengers in the Kia were not injured, State Highway 84 was closed in both directions for about three hours, CHP officials said.

The officials said it does not appear alcohol or drugs played a part in the collision.
