PBS Kids Host & Author Nate Ball at Linden Tree during Farmer's Market!

Nate Ball, host of PBS Kids "Design Squad Nation"and author of “Alien in My Pocket” series will appear at Linden Tree. The series is an early chapter books which combines humorous fiction about a four inch tall alien’s adventures with a boy named Zack McGee and safe, hands-on science experiments.

Mr. Ball is an MIT graduate whose passion for invention was coursing through his veins long before he could define the word. He recalls digging up the family garden at two years old to build, wreck and rebuild mud dams and underground forts. In fourth grade he created a bottle-rocket launcher that shot two-liter bottles of water 100 feet skyward. This was followed by a hovercraft powered by a vacuum cleaner motor that he constructed in sixth grade.
