Renovo Wants Both Andronico's and A.G. Ferrari
Too busy to stop downtown for Italian food products but planning to stop at the supermarket at Rancho? This investment company's bid may allow you to get A. G. Ferrari products at Andronico's.
The Oakland Tribune reported Thursday that Renovo Capital wants to buy and revamp Andronico's and A.G. Ferrari, according to documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Oakland.
Renovo has already gotten court approval to buy San Leandro-based for $1.2 million and separately has proposed to pay $16 million to buy San Francisco-based .
The two chains both have stores in Los Altos. Andronico's and A.G. Ferrari would be operated independently, but it may be possible in the future to find Italian food products from A.G. Ferrari in the supermarket Andronico's, an executive from Renovo told the Oakland Tribune.
