Rollover Accident Blocks Southbound I-280 In Los Altos Area
BREAKING: One person sent to the hospital after Monday accident.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A big-rig that overturned on Interstate Highway 280 near Los Altos Hills this afternoon sent one person to a hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol and Santa Clara County Fire Department.
Officers responded to a big-rig crash reported on southbound Highway 280 south of Magdalena Avenue shortly before 2 p.m., CHP Officer William Ogilvie said.
A tow truck was called to the scene and a Caltrans crew was sent to clean up the roadway, Ogilvie said.

One person has been transported to a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, Santa Clara County fire spokeswoman Stephanie Stuehler said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 2:12 p.m. closing three southbound lanes that were estimated to reopen around 6 p.m., according to the CHP.

The accident occurred between Magdalena Avenue and the Foothill Expressway exit on I-280, the Los Altos Police Department said.
